Nowhere on the product page do I see any mention of assembly for this item, so I was pretty surprised when it arrived in pieces! There are 7 wooden pieces, plus hardware, and the assembly instructions aren't great. I'm not the handiest gal, but I do ok, and it took me close to 45 minutes! And even then, although I followed the instructions to the letter and the stool seemed sturdy, within a couple of months the inside bottom of the storage area popped out so many times than I tried glueing it, and that wouldn't even keep it in there. I ended up just gluing it shut so that we can use it as a stool but don't get ... Small enough that it can be kept in any room without taking up
