I just got Kidkraft Charleston Toddler Cot

This bed is sold as "wood" but is actually plywood glued together- can't say I'm surprised but was a little concerned since I try to avoid plywood and glue (for higher toxicity levels) in my kids' furniture. The bed was easy to assemble and seems to have a durable finish and be solid enough. It is much lower to the ground and smaller than I expected (fine with me since my kid likes to roll out of bed asleep, great size for sleepovers or smaller/shared bedroom). The "guardrails" seem kind of pointless since bed is just a couple inches off the ground and they are too small to prevent a rollover but they might help to keep ...
